The Star-Spangled Banner, also known as the 15-star, 15-stripe garrison flag, has 15 horizontal red and white stripes and 15 white stars in a blue field. The stars are arranged in five horizontal rows of three stars each, and the flag is about one-fourth the size of a basketball court. The flag was made in 1813 by Mary Young Pickersgill and other workers in her Baltimore home, and was intended to fly from a 90-foot flagpole during the War of 1812.

The Bennington Flag, also known as the "Fillmore" flag, is a well-known and old American flag that has 13 stars and 13 stripes, a large "76" in the canton, and a blue field that is taller than other flags. The flag's features are:
13 stars and 13 stripes: Represent the 13 American colonies that were rebelling against Great Britain
Large "76" in the canton: Refers to the year 1776, when the Declaration of Independence was signed
White stripes on the outside: Unlike most American flags, the white stripes are on the outside, not the red stripes
Blue field with nine stripes: The blue field is taller than other flags, with nine stripes instead of seven
Eleven seven-pointed stars in an arch: With two additional stars in the upper corners of the canton

The flag has 13 red and white stripes, a blue canton, and 34 white stars in the upper left quadrant. The stars are arranged in a pattern with one in the center, two concentric rings, and one in each corner
